In partial modification of the Chandigarh Administration’s Notification No. 6/1/1-IH(I)-2025/17488-95 dated 30.12.2025 regarding the declaration of public holidays in the Union Territory of Chandigarh for the calendar year 2026, it is hereby notified that 14th April 2026 (Tuesday), on account of the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, shall now also be observed as a public holiday under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, in all Government offices/Boards/Corporations/Institutions under the Chandigarh Administration, including Industrial Establishments.
