A significant step was taken today towards resolving the long-pending drainage issue in Punjab Modern Complex. Municipal Corporation Chairman Sardar Uday Veer Singh Dhillon inaugurated the work of laying the drainage line in the area. This project had been a long-standing demand of the colony residents, which has finally been fulfilled.

Colony President Arvind Rana had raised this issue multiple times with the municipal administration. Due to his consistent efforts, the work has now been initiated. The laying of the drainage line is expected to provide major relief to residents, especially from waterlogging problems during the rainy season.

On this occasion, Colony Chairman R.L. Gupta, Market Association President Paramjit Singh Pammi, Baldev, Renu Rana, Kulwant Kaur, along with other residents of the colony, were present.

At the end of the program, Arvind Rana expressed his gratitude to senior Congress leader Sardar Deepinder Singh Dhillon and other leaders for their support. He also expressed hope that development works in the area will continue in the future.
