Army rescue operations continue in some parts of State of Punjab and Haryana and more than two thousands persons rescued and evacuated to safer places.. Total 14 columns of Army pressed into service for evacuation of civilians to safe places as per request by the respective govts.

In Dera Bassi Heavy water logging in roads civilians rescued till now 75 civilians from Gulmohar Extn society. Columns will further move to Sirsani vill for evacuation of stranded Civilians. 

Makeshift mud embankment on River Siswa tributary at Village Chaunsa Khurd washed away. Water level reached upto 3ft. Neighbouring vill Surtapur cut off. 

Second breach in Siswa River tributary reported in the morning and Relief Work in progress for plugging the breach. In Patiala 's Rishi Colony, rescue operations over last night. Approx 150 persons rescued by Boat Assault Universal Type (BAUT) & livestock evacuation.In Gopal Colony, Patiala., 1400 civilians rescued till yesterday. By Boat Assault Universal Type(BAUT): 500 Human Chain/Tractor: 900, operation still going on. Focal Pt. on Badi Nadi

Breach plugged on Badi Nadi. Ops in progressand Deer Park, NIS, Sheesh Mahal breach on drainage plugged. Ops under progress.  Urban Estate Patiala: 30 person rescued overnight byBoat Assault Universal Type (BAUT) and rescue operation continue.

In Ismailpur SW of Ambala situation was standby, In Mahesh Nagar Ambala 200 civilians evacuation by BAUT.Operations Completed.In Kohinoor Enclave, Patiala 80 rescued.  In  Gobind bagh, Patiala 106 personal rescued by BAUT. In Patran (Samana, its AOR), where Situation is being monitored continuously. Army standby in Nabha for Moonak, one column standby Panipat and rescue parties left for Narwana Canaj to plug the Narwana  Canal.

In Fatehgarh Sahib 150 Civilians rescued by Boat Assault Universal Type (BAUTs). One Out Board Motors (OBM) & manpower moved to DC office for operation. In Ismailpur SW of Ambala situation was standby , In Mahesh Nagar Ambala 200 civilians evacuation by BAUT.Operations Completed.In Kohinoor Enclave, Patiala 80 rescued.  In  Gobind bagh, Patiala 106 personal rescued by BAUT. Rescue parties left for Kaithal where farms and houses flooded  not affected till now and the situation was under control.
