J&K GOVT LEAVING NO STONE UNTURNED FOR STATE PROSPERITY, SAYS MLA PARDESI

MLA AHSAN PARDESI INAUGURATES RESTAURANT SHOWCASING KASHMIRI CUISINE, AFFIRMS GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FOR BUSINESS AND SPORTS IN SRINAGAR. INT'L HOCKEY EVENT DELAYED UNTIL SEPTEMBER, SAYS WANI

Ahsan Pardesi, MLA  from Lal Chowk and representative of the National Conference, today inaugurated Kongposh Wazwan—a distinguished new restaurant in Peer Bagh, Srinagar, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir—dedicated to celebrating and promoting authentic Kashmiri cuisine. 
During the inauguration ceremony, MLA Pardesi commended the ongoing initiatives spearheaded by Chief Minister Janab Omar Abdullah, noting the state's commendable efforts to strengthen and empower the business community. Addressing the media, Mr. Pardesi underscored the government's unwavering commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, stating, "Even amidst prevailing circumstances, we are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the development and prosperity of the state."
The occasion also highlighted the outstanding role of Hockey J&K in the sporting development of the Kashmir Valley. MLA Pardesi assured President of Hockey J&K Gurdeep Singh and Organizing Secretary of the International Hockey Championship Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani that the J&K Sports Council would extend comprehensive support, especially in the lead-up to the upcoming international hockey event. "Hockey is our national game, and Hockey J&K has consistently created valuable opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir," he remarked, adding, "Our administration remains fully dedicated to the advancement and welfare of our athletes." 
Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani, Organizing Secretary of the International Hockey Championship, provided an update on the tournament originally scheduled for June 2025 at Srinagar's Polo Ground, announcing its rescheduling to September 2025 in light of current circumstances.
