Udaipur-based Narayan Seva Sansthan known for its humanitarian work is organising a free Narayan Limb and Calipers Fitting Camp on May 18 at the Community Center, Sector 49. The camp will run from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and benefit over 300 pre-selected differently-abled individuals.

Providing details, Media and PR Director Bhagwan Prasad Gaur shared that the camp is part of the institute's 40-year-long mission to serve the disabled close to their hometowns. Earlier, a measurement camp was held on March 2 wherein over 500 people registered and 302 were selected for artificial limb fittings due to loss of limbs from accidents or other mishaps.

These beneficiaries will now be fitted with Narayan Limbs based on German technology, enabling them to lead independent lives. “Our goal is to empower every citizen, especially the disabled, to contribute to a stronger and more inclusive society,” Gaur said.

A 40-member expert team will manage fittings and provide post-fitting mobility training. The camp’s poster was unveiled by Director Gaur, Camp Incharge Ramesh Sharma,and Ashram Incharge Jitendra Singh Bhati.

Narayan Seva Sansthan has served over 40,000 people with free artificial limbs and conducts camps across India and in countries like Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Nepal. Founded in 1985 by Padma Shri awardee Kailash Manav, the institute, under President Prashant Agarwal, also provides education, skill development, and sports opportunities for the differently-abled.
